Dear valued partner,
For almost two years (due to the cancellation of the 2020 IBEX show), we have been preparing for and anticipating this year’s IBEX show in Tampa. We’ve never been more thrilled — in our 20+ years of exhibiting — to present and discuss our many developments including:
- Our acquisition of MarineTech Products,
- Our new state-of-the-art distribution centers in Suffolk, Virginia and Casella, Italy, and
- The many new products and developments in each of our four product platforms
At the same time, the global COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed how we do business and the social/work environment, particularly in Florida. According to reports from John Hopkins University and The New York Times, Tampa’s Hillsborough county is now recording 1,400 new cases per day (highest since the pandemic started), and is classified as an “extremely high risk” area with hospital ICU’s that are at or near capacity.
Our responsibility for the health of our team members, their families and communities coupled with our civic duty to help reduce the potential for further infection/transmission supersedes our commercial interests. As a result, we have made the extremely difficult decision not to attend the 2021 IBEX show.
We will, however, reach out through our sales teams to each of you to schedule virtual sessions to present our new products, services and strategies for 2022. The pandemic will not last forever and we will move through this! As we do, we very much look forward seeing you again and resuming regular in-person meetings.
